Who We Are
Rating Research LLC (RRC), a joint venture between The RatrixSM
Group and Opinion
Research Corporation, is a publisher providing research and opinion
on the intangible dimensions of corporate reputation and publicly disseminated
Reputation Ratings and Ethics Reputation Ratings assigned to leading
companies in the industries studied. RRC integrates our founders’
in-depth experience with the public rating business model used in the
credit rating industry, with ORC’s historic expertise in market
research and corporate reputation. In essence, RRC’s concept expands
the application of the public rating paradigm from its traditional framework
of financial analysis to the arena of corporate reputation. RRC’s
products and services are supported by the academic research on issues
surrounding corporate reputation conducted by one of its board members,
Professor Stephen A. Greyser of Harvard Business School.
The principals of RRC and its Board of Directors
believe that the marketplace will benefit from greater transparency
and accountability on the part of major corporations by creating a universally
accepted standard that accurately and objectively assesses the critical
intangible components of corporate reputation. Recent events in the
marketplace have underscored the need for the public and other interested
parties, including regulators, to have ready access to consistent, objective
research and opinion that, coupled with financial information, can provide
a more accurate assessment of companies’ performance.
